Our office is located in Houston's Galleria area and we provide care for families wanting a natural childbirth in the comfort of their own homes or at a birthing center. We provide complete prenatal care, labor, birth, and six weeks postpartum care for mom and baby. We offer water births-laboring in a birthing tub greatly reduces the discomfort of labor. We also have a DeBy Birthing stool which really helps open up the pelvis and increases the diameter for those big babies!
Our prenatal appointments are 30-60 minutes long-we like to get to know you and your family. We believe in the Midwifery Model of Care. We help educate you so that you can make good choices about your pregnancy and birth. There's no need for additional breastfeeding classes, diapering classes, and baby wearing classes. We teach you during your prenatals how to diaper a baby, wear a baby with a moby wrap or sling, and how to breastfeed your baby. We offer individualized prenatal care-no two women are the same. We believe that the majority of low-risk pregnant women are able to give birth naturally. We work with you and your family to help you achieve the birth you desire. For women that become high-risk, we do have excellent physician consultation and referral services.
Our midwives are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services to practice midwifery. We stay current in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation. We have helped over 500 women give birth outside of a hospital setting. Please contact us if you would like to set up a free consultation.
